The Wizard of Oz is a fantasy film released back in 1939.Film was directed by Victor Fleming,primarily written by Noel langley.This film was based on the novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L.Frank Baum.He passed away 20 years before the film was released.
Here is the story of this film,Dorothy Gale, a 12-year-old girl was living in Kansas with her lovely dog Toto and her Aunt Em,Uncle Henry.One day irascible townswoman Miss Almira Gulch came to Dorothy`s house on the reasons of Toto bited her legs.She got a sheriff`s order and tried to take Toto away to be euthanized.
Fortunately Toto could escape from Miss Gulch and run back to Dorothy.She was so pleased and decided to leave home.She soon encountered a fortune teller named Professor Marvel.He told her that Aunt Em was ill,She got surprised and hurry back to home.When She arrived at home, huge Tornado attacked house and she fainted.
When She waked up,she finded that she came to the world of Oz.Her long journey to go home has just begun.
When I watched this film I first thought this is not enough to write specific feature of characters.Scenes are switching so quickly and story goes on so first.
But this is a simple story,so I did not got lost.
Finaly Dorothy can go home, as you know.Perhaps the lesson of this film is that “There is no place like home”.It means real happiness is within ourseleves,I guess.So it`s OK you wish something but Do not wish with empty mind.You have to be full.Then you wish something you want or you want to be.Then it will be come true so quickly.
